Abra Cookies and Storage

What Abra's public page and panel store in your browser, and why we do not need to ask your permission for any of it.

Last revised:

Nothing is stored on the public page

Abra's public page — the home page and the handover links an organisation may send you — installs no cookies, carries no advertising pixels, and Abra stores nothing in your browser.

It loads a single third-party resource, and only on three forms: the sign-up, recovery and join-request forms of a mission site carry a check against automated submissions, Cloudflare Turnstile, by Cloudflare, Inc. To run it, your browser connects to challenges.cloudflare.com, and Cloudflare receives your IP address and your browser's technical data. Whatever that service may store or read in your browser during the check is decided by Cloudflare and described in its privacy policy. It is not loaded anywhere else on the site.

What you see when you open a handover link is requested from the server at that moment and lives only in the tab's memory: it disappears when you close or reload it.

On the panel

The panel, where each organisation's team runs its mission, uses the same storage shared by every panel on the platform. These are not cookies either: it is browser storage.

Visit measurement

The public page counts its visits with our own cookie-free counter: Umami, installed on our server (stats.profblu.com), not on a third party's. When you open the page, your browser tells it which page you saw, which page you came from, your language, the type of browser, operating system and device, and the screen size; the country is worked out from the IP address, which is not stored. It stores and reads nothing in your browser, does not follow you from one site to another and cannot tell who you are: it only gives overall figures, how many visits there are and where they come from.

Nothing is measured on the panel. There is no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager and no other analytics tool.

Everything above is what is strictly necessary to provide you a service you yourself have requested: signing in and remembering your language, your organisation and your mission. It is exactly what article 22.2 of the LSSI exempts. The visit counter stores and reads nothing in your browser, so it falls outside what that article regulates.

How to delete it

From your browser's settings, like any other local data. Keep in mind that deleting what keeps your session open signs you out.

Technical detail, for those who want it

If you want to find each item in your browser and delete them one by one, these are the names they are stored under on the panel:
